CEEK Limited, is a professional civil engineering design firm specializing in supporting main contractors at both tender and contract stage. We provide solutions for construction methodology, erection analysis, temporary works and alternative designs for major civil and building works. We have an established and growing workload covering large underground works for civil projects involving ELS, tunnelling and pipe/box jacking. Future opportunities include bridge works and other major structures. We are looking to employ senior engineers with strong contemporary engineering skills in geotechnical and/or structural disciplines, that they are interested to apply to a wide variety of projects. Open Positions

PROJECT Engineers (Civil)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Around 8 years civil design experience with either a contractor or a consultant.
  • Sound understanding of the principles of design and analysis;
  • Able to design safe structural systems achieving efficiency in cost, time and functionality;
  • Good understanding of the codes of practice, regulations and best practices relating to the design work;
  • Expert user of the structural / geotechnical software; and
  • Corporate membership of ICE or HKIE is preferred.

Senior Design Engineers (Civil)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Around 8 years or more civil design experience with either a contractor or a consultant.
  • Corporate membership of ICE or HKIE is preferred.
  • More experienced candidates may be considered for team leadership positions

Design Engineers (Civil)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with MICE, MIStructE, or equivalent.
  • Around 3–4 years or more civil design experience with either a contractor or a consultant. 
  • Good Command of spoken and written English
  • ICE / HKIE Training Scheme is provided in house.

Assistant Design Engineer

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with MICE, MIStructE or equivalent
  • Around 1–2 years civil design experience with either a contractor or a consultant.
  • Knowledge of geotechnical finite element analysis software and structural analysis software is an advantage.
  • Varied years of experience can be accepted. As long as you fit then we can place you in a position to suit your experience.
  • Good Command of spoken and written English.
  • ICE / HKIE Training Scheme is provided in house.
  • Fresh graduates will be considered for starter positions.

AQS-III, Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:

Roles and Responsibilities

You will assist the MQS/SQS/PQS/QS for both pre & post contract focusses on the following aspects: 

  • Prepare Tender Documents through taking off and measurement according to SMMs; 
  • Prepare Price Comparison tables for subletting works; 
  • Create budgeting; 
  • Prepare monthly cost control report;
  • Prepare subcontract agreement and procurement agreement; 
  • Prepare interim payment application/payment certificates;  
  • Prepare variation orders and claims; 
  • Document control for QS related works; and
  • Any other ad-hoc from time to time;

  • Experienced in SMM in both Civil and Buildings, with knowledge of mainland china’s standards is an advantage;
  • Experienced in Contracts including FIDIC, NEC original, NEC3, has knowledge of NEC4 is an advantage;
  • Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, RICS member is preferred;

SQS, Senior Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:

You will assist the CM/SMQS/MQS for both pre & post contract focusses on the following aspects: 

  • Prepare Tender Documents through taking off and measurement according to SMMs; 
  • Prepare Price Comparison tables for subletting works; 
  • Create budgeting; 
  • Prepare monthly cost control report;
  • Prepare subcontract agreement and procurement agreement; 
  • Prepare interim payment application/payment certificates;  
  • Prepare variation orders and claims; 
  • Document control for QS related works; and
  • Any other ad-hoc from time to time;

Capabilities and Qualifications

  • Leadership & strong organization skills ;
  • Independently lead more than one team;
  • Good interpersonal skills &Teamwork, and able to lead a team with min 12 candidates; 
  • Good in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin);
  • Calm, logical, analytical, and sensitive with figures;
  • Time management, multi-tasking, attention to detail and accuracy however has vision of entire picture;
  • Skilled in MS office, especially MS Excel & Word as well as Power Point, Revit in QS is an advantage;

DP-Draftsman

Requirements:

Capabilities and Qualifications

  • Having completed a diploma in a relevant engineering discipline and/or other relevant technical qualifications will be an advantage;
  • 3 years or more experience producing drawings in AutoCAD and Microstation in a consultant’s or contractor’s office working in a civil engineering environment;
  • Experience with 3D work will be an advantage. (Sketchup, Revit or other);
  • Ability to work in both English as well as Chinese will be an advantage; 
  • Hardworking, responsible and with good interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered for more senior position.
